No call-centre, no stranger handed your trek at the gate. You book with Pak Wil, and you walk with him or one of the Senaru guides he climbs alongside, men he knows and trusts on this mountain, every one of them from Senaru, at the foot of the trail.

I was born in Senaru, at the bottom of this trail. I started carrying loads as a porter, then guided, and in 2017 I began taking my own trekkers all the way up. When you message Wil Rinjani, you are messaging me. I answer myself, I learn your pace on the savanna, and I read you on the summit gravel at four in the morning.
The guides who work with me are not strangers I found for your dates. They are people I climb this mountain alongside and trust with my own name. As Wil Rinjani grows I am building toward a dedicated team of my own.
Aman, Gum and Polong are guides Pak Wil climbs with, some of them freelance, not anonymous fill-ins. When you book, Pak Wil tells you who is leading your trek, and if anything changes, he messages you and names the replacement. You'll find Aman, Gum and Polong mentioned by name in the Google reviews.

The porters who carry for us are Senaru men, paid above the standard village day-rate, fed the same kind of hot cooked meals and given proper tents to sleep in, not under tarps. Trek porters carry about 25 to 30 kg and personal porters up to 20 kg, all under the park's 30 kg legal limit, and every wrapper and can comes back down with them.
Same family, same porters, five ways up and down the mountain. If you already know your days, start with the route. If you don't, start with the comparison.
No forms, no agents. Pak Wil answers WhatsApp himself. Ask him anything about the routes, the guides, or your dates.
